TRAVEL IS MY PASSION

* Beautiful Valley Of KASHMIR *

Kashmir is the most beautiful and scenic.

* BANJOSA LAKE, Azad Kashmir *
  • One of the most beautiful place in Azad Kashmir. Banjosa Lake situated in Poonch District of Azad Kashmir is a beautiful spot for family vacations. It's also very convenient and approachable from Rawalpindi/Islamabad. In fact from Rawalpindi (2 - 2.5 hour drive) you have to take the route towards Kahuta and from there you have to go to Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir. Rawalakot is 65 Kms from Rawalpindi and from Rawalakot Banjosa is 12 Kms.

                                                                * Rawalakot From Top *
  • I took the route from Mangla towards Kotli and then Rawalakot which was quite good as far as road condition is concerned one track which i took my way back home was (Mirpur - Islamgarh - Chakswari - Rajhdani - Gulpur - Sehnsa - Sarsawa - Baloch - Tararkhal - Banjosa) whereas i went there using the route (Mirpur - Islamgarh - Chakswari - Gulpur - Kotli - Tattapani - Hajira - Khaigala - Banjosa).
* Walking Bridge in Banjosa Lake *
  •  In my opinion this is the best spot to enjoy your vacations with family if you have 2-3 days leave only. You can travel  Lahore and reach there in 6-7 hours drive on friday enjoy next full day and then come back on Sunday.
    You can easily reach at banjosa using whatever vehicle you want to chose, the only thing is good wheels/breaking due to heights near Baloch.
                                           * Nice Place for Motor Boating, Bank of Banjosa Lake *
  • Its scenic beauty and impressive surrounding is compelling and attracts tourists to reach here to enjoy the nature for a possible comeback.

                                                   * Way to TOLI PEER, Rawalakot *
  • Toli Pir is a hilltop area situated in Tehsil Rawalakot in the Poonch District of Azad Kashmir. Its approximate height is about 8800 ft above sea level. It is about 40 km, or a 45-minute drive, from Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir. Abbaspur, Bagh and Poonch River can be viewed from Toli Pir.

                                                * TOLI PEER, Rawalakot LUSH GREEN VIEW *
  • Tolli Peer, a peak of deep spiritual importance for the region. Apart from that with its lush green meadows and wonderful colored flowers, pine trees, and not to forget the panoramic view of Himalayan Range from the height of around 9,000 feet.

    A 15 min walk from the parking site to the edge of Toli peer is like a feeling of deep sense of peace and the beauty of the surrounding envelop you with its charms. You can shift your burden of depression in no time at all.

    One of the greatest discoveries of my life, and possibly the greatest thing I do for my self, my body, mind and spirit is to take these short walks in beauty of the Nature.

    So if you are feeling bored, want to relieve stress, just go to Rawalakot and then 20 Km drive to Toli Peer, PArk you ride there and simply start the walk toward the grave of Toli Peer.

    I think Albert Einstein hit the nail on the head when he said, "We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us."

    Taken: During a walk over the meadows and mountain of Toli peer, Rawalakot, Azad Jammu Karshmir, Pakistan.

                                           * Wow What a fairy meadow *

  • Toli peer is a plane at the top of the mountains of Rawlakot and is a place where you can camp and hike or track and enjoy the nature at its purist.
